AN EXPERIENCE NOT A CATERING HALL
Your special event at the Art Factory is an Experience, not an impersonal 5-hour event in a typical corporate catering hall. Instead of casino carpets we have original 19th century hardwood floors; instead of fake stucco columns we have 1840s southern timber; rather than sheetrock walls ours are 2’ thick brick; and opposite of a built-to-be catering hall we have 180 years of historic authenticity. Did we mention the huge original factory windows and cobblestoned alleyways and courtyards? Yes, this is the real deal. The perfect destination that you and your guests will Never Forget!
YOUR Amazing Experience
Your Experience at the Art Factory is CREATED and customized by our team of professional planners and designers led by Donata, our founder who envisioned and created the Art Factory. Each event is a bespoke Experience. Upon booking you become honorary Members of the Art Factory and the planning process for your customized event begins. We use a planning app where you start by uploading your vision boards and inspiration including such things as Pinterest photos and links, images from our stock of décor and props and timelines. Let us tell your story! If you are a couple, how about highlighting the shared interests that brought you together? Travel, art, theater, wine, hiking, racing, music, literature, physics . . .? Bar/Bat Mitzvah and sweet 16 or quinceanera young adults often have sports, music or causal interests. Each event at the Art Factory is unique and we design yours as we design our movie sets - to tell your story.
Meet with our planners and designers to immerse yourself in the Vibe, discovering our décor and props over a lunch or dinner planning Experience while having fun creating your special day!
Art Factory spaces are called Stages, like we build our movie sets. We provide your ceremony, cocktail and reception space, bridal and groom suites, planning by our team, tables, chairs, all decor and props (except fresh flowers), setup, cleanup, day-of coordinator and so much more. You are responsible for food and beverage, photography and DJ/band - all for which we have our in-house options or you can bring your own vendors.
SELECT YOUR STAGE
Hamilton/Jute Stage (40-200 people)
This great combination of two amazing spaces is sure to WOW your guests. Totaling about 20,000 sf you and your guests are treated to an immersive tour of 1840-1860 American Industrialism! Our Jute stage is perfect for ceremony and cocktails, or just cocktails depending on your event. Then sachet to the Hamilton stage for your reception and dinner, and follow-up with an after party in the Engine Room - where the hub of the original 1840 water wheel is on display!
Hemp/Linen (60-500 people)
Our GALA spaces - these comprise the top floor at 80' up with 20' loft ceilings and amazing views over the city. 28,000 sf total! Have your ceremony on our grand chuppah in our Hemp stage and then slide your guests across an amazing bridge into Linen for cocktails, returning to Hemp an hour later to an insanely transformed Gala space for the rest of the evening (and well into the next morning)!
International Stage (60—350 people)
Wow! Ceremony inside or outside in our park, cocktails and after party on our park deck and how about a cigar roller and whisky bar on our outside deck? This stays open so you can have outdoor cocktails all night long while you and your guests dance and dine the night away in the adjacent reception area
