From Bogath Weddings: “There is something amazing about The Art Factory in Paterson, NJ. Maybe it’s the name. Or, perhaps it’s the city. Maybe it’s the history of the building…if those walls could talk! The Art Factory is a huge silk factory complex of 17 buildings that has been repurposed to serve as a community space for artists of all types to create. It’s a true oasis of creativity within the city.
I found my inspiration for this wedding editorial within the space itself and chose to style the shoot with industrial details and textures including cement cinder blocks, marble place cards, and antique glass light bulbs. These hard elements were softened by the floral design and Idalia Photography was there to capture it all.”

“The florals we created included tropical Pink Ice Protea, poppy pods and layers of O’Hara roses, pink Helleborus, wax flower, and lisianthus double whites. Additionally, there was a variety of greenery that included trailing cascades of flowering pink jasmine vine and lush ruscus greens.
